Like many who find their way to Rishikesh, Rishi arrived drawn by the pace, the Ganga, and something harder to name. What started as a visit became a home, and what started as personal documentation became a dedicated photography practice.
Shooting in Tapovan means working with seasonal light, riverside mist, temple bells, and the unhurried rhythm of ashram life. It shaped an approach that prioritises patience over spectacle — waiting for the right moment rather than manufacturing one.
The yoga halls where teacher training batches begin every month. The quiet ghats where seekers sit at dawn. The travellers who arrive searching for clarity and leave with visual memories. These are the stories Rishi photographs — each treated with deep respect and artistic restraint.
